This blog documents the design and construction of Breaking Ground Contracting’s green roof project in an urban/industrial area of Jacksonville, FL. Take the journey with us as we post progress photos, upload green roof and permaculture resources and provide insight into the successes and challenges of this endeavor, Florida’s first commercial green roof that incorporates native species, rooftop permaculture and Florida-friendly landscaping.
