As a partner on the Breaking Ground Contracting green roof project in Jacksonville, FL, SunWorks Solar designed and installed the 10kW photovoltaic solar electric system, which will help to offset approximately 40% of Breaking Ground Contracting’s daily energy demand, and they also installed a solar thermal water system to heat the water used in the building’s bathrooms and kitchen. SunWorks listened to the needs of Breaking Ground Contracting and provided systems that would support our energy goals and vision for a sustainable office project.
