Beautiful Midday Biodiversity on the Breaking Ground Green Roof!

Asclepias, Echinacea, Cosmos, Muhly & other species supporting Biodiversity

The native plants were so beautiful on the Breaking Ground Contracting Green Roof today, stunning!  The bee were everywhere as well as other pollinators.

Seeds are beginning to set and dry, awaiting dispersal and regrowth.  Most of the green roof plants have held up very well in the hostile heat and dry winds we’ve been experiencing.

Native plants are the key to attracting a diverse array of pollinators and have been the reason why the food areas has flourished as well as it has.
